Recently I was faced with the situation of finding placement for my Mother who had taken a bad fall this past summer. Initially I was prepared to bring her home to live with us, but her time in rehab proved that this choice was no longer going to be possible due to her condition and declining state. I was in such a panic trying to navigate through all the information under a time crunch to find placement for her that was affordable, safe and caring. Thank goodness one of the facilities that had a wait list of about 30 people referred me to Janice Martin. She was again referred to me from a friend who happens to know her personally at a different time. In our first conversation she was able to calm the overwhelming anxiety I had on what to do, where to start and how to go about getting all the information that was going to be needed. Janice has that special gift of knowing what people are going through and has the tools to help them take a breath and begin the walk through all the many different avenues of elderly care. Her toolkit is massive and for me it was elderly placement, for you it could be anything from simple questions to hospice care or rehabilitation facilities. She has connections and a trove of information. She was (and continues to be) so invaluable to me. Her primary mission is to ensure the care and welfare of your loved one is met and that you are comfortable and happy with the care they are receiving. She is a liaison for YOU, and does her utmosts best in finding the answers to all of the questions and concerns that come with taking care of an elderly loved one. I am so very thankful for her services. This has been one of the hardest moments of my life in turning over the care of my Mom to someone else but with the help of Janice it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for me and my Mom. There are angels on earth and Janice Martin is one of them.
